Last night in Karlsruhe the show was amazing. It just exceeded my expectations... They played in a small indoor arena in front of 7000 people. The show was way more intense than the one in Butzbach (which was great). Although I was second row and not 1st row like in Butzbach, I was much closer to the stage... The boys appeared to be really in the right mood and were just perfect. The setlist was balanced and very tight. They opened with Train and they added Janie's got a gun. They played again SOS too bad that sounds great live. Like in Butzabach the boys really seemed to enjoy playing in front of a European audience. They jammed and they improvised a lot comparing to Butzbach. Especially Joe, who really looked motivated to prove he's still one the best rock guitarists in the history of music. I was very inspired. Steven was really hyperactive and didn't stop for one second. Brad, Tom and Joey also seemed to be as in the right mood. I was really surprised, my impression was that yesterday show was a genuine Aerosmith show without too many special effects... It was just them, the music and the audience., like in the early days.. And by the way even the sound quality in the venue was beyond expectations. It was clear and rough at the same time. Apparently, the PA system was different... I really enjoyed the Karlsruhe concert. The highlight was when Steven took my AeroItalian flag. I sung with it for about 3-4 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get it back despite my efforts at the end of the show. But it was lost on the battlefield and it served its purpose. It's a shame I couldn't get back some of Steven's sweat.... Anyway, here's some photos of this memorable show...
